Great house, lots of charm. Can’t beat the location.

One of two properties we rented for a family reunion. The beauty of this site is the location. Eucalyptus is a no traffic street. This provides a significant level of safety. The access to the new Vons is a real advantage as well. Had to make four trips there in one day. Closeness is crucial. Wonderful place for children.

It was nicely decorated (vintage). I really liked it and it was fun looking at the pictures they have on the walls. They also have old guestbooks that people signed. I was going to buy one to leave there but unfortunately, I forgot. The room with the 4 beds is very small. However, it served the purpose because one definitely doesn't stay in the house during the day. There's so much to do during the house. There wasn't any problem with noise. We had some great neighbors, renters, and people that live nearby. It's an awesome area to stay in. It's a no car street which makes it fun for adults and kids. We bbq'd two evenings on the street ...awesome family time. Whoever rented the house before us didn't clean the bbqer so we had to do it. The house has table and chairs that you can use outside. Another plus of staying on a no car street is that there is no car and people traffic. We really liked this. The kitchen definitely has everything you need. There's a park up the street which makes it a great asset if you have children. The house also has beach toys for kids which is nice. We had a problem with Wifi but they quickly came and fixed the problem. They put a new modem in the house.

My family of four (2 adults, 2 young children), along with another family of four (2 adults, 2 young children) stayed at this charming house for four days during our school's spring break. The house was comfortable, spacious, and the perfect location. The house sits on a street that is blocked off from automobiles, so the kids were able to play soccer out on the street right in front of the house. We could easily walk to coffee shops, restaurants, miniature golf, Descanso Beach, the pier, grocery stores, the museum, etc—the house is located right in the middle of Avalon, but far enough from the main drag that you felt quietly tucked away. **VRBO GUEST**
