Took our family for a get away from LA, and everyone from 1 to 71 years enjoyed the home and the activities! We hope to come back soon.

We had a group of 10 adults and this house fit us perfectly! Our whole group was so pleased with the house, cleanliness, location, and set up. I would definitely rent here again.

357 Claressa Avenue is such a great house to stay in. It is a great location near the town, beach and the park. The house is super quiet and has a great layout. It is really big with lots of room for everyone. The kitchen and living room is very open and is good for a group environment. There is a washer and dryer. Furthermore, the people at CIVR are very informative and friendly. A great house to enjoy all Catalina has to offer.

The house was perfect for our party. Clean, spacious and well appointed. Close enough to downtown to feel connected to everything while being far enough away that you could enjoy a peaceful island holiday if you so choose. The location is also super close to golf and hiking paths. We will definitely be staying here again. Loved it.

Outstanding home. Clean, fully stocked and close to everything. Great for our party of 10. Will come back! Only criticism is loud gas golf cart traffic at intersection outside, but quiet from 9pm to 6am. Rental office folks are terrific too! Thank you!

On this particular visit to Catalina Island we needed a large place to gather as a family so we chose 357 Claressa which sleeps 10 guests. It was a comfortable and roomy place with plenty of bedrooms, a dining table to seat our entire party and, coveted in Avalon, a lovely outdoor patio with fully appointed bbq (which I was disappointed that we ran out of time and didn't take advantage of!).
Four families were able to sleep comfortably and gather together in a beautiful and spacious living room/dining room in front of the gas fireplace to play games and watch DVDs.
Our biggest problem with the unit stemmed from the argument over the roomy master bedroom with its private bathroom and balcony!
The rental house is located in what feels like the quietest part of Avalon flats only a few blocks from the beach but off the main drag.
We wholeheartedly recommend this rental from Catalina Vacation Rentals where we have consistently been able to rent warm and cozy accommodations that have accommodated our many groups of friends and family, in varying sizes, over the years!

We rented the house several times for 4 days with a group of friends. 3 bedrooms are perfect for couples and one is OK for couples that don't mind being in bunk bed where the bottom bunk is a queen size bed. The 5th bedroom has two single beds that can be moved together for a couple. The kitchen, dining room, living room and outdoor patio are made for large groups. One year we put on a 30 person BBQ and everyone had a place to sit. It is a bit of a walk to Descanso Beach and it would be nicer if a golf cart was available with the house. A golf cart would also come in handy for hauling groceries for a large group. Other than that, it is a great house for a large group.

Great house! Spacious, clean, updated and roomy. A bit of traffic noise at night but tolerable. Location is great as it’s walkimg distance but not too close to be bothered by front street noise. The dining table was great, really great size for a big group. Would definitely come back for another stay.

Also the puzzles were an awesome surprise.

The house was perfect for us, we were 4 couples and 2 kids. There was plenty of room and the big table was perfect for family meals. It was a short walk to the beach and grocery stores. Plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking in and an outdoor grill. Only complaint was that the sheets in one of the rooms weren’t clean so we had to do a load of laundry when we arrived.

I invited friends and family to join us for a fun weekend at Catalina Island and it was a blast! We were lucky to check in early (right when we arrived) and the process was exceptionally easy. The walk to the house was not bad either, as it is literally down the street from the beach and shops at Avalon. The house itself was huge and slept ten people extremely comfortably. The biggest plus for my friends and family was that there were many bathrooms!

The only downer was that the kitchen/living room area floor was filthy. I walked with bare feet on it and in seconds my feet were black. Thankfully, they had a Swiffer, vacuum, and dust pan readily available for any messes beyond that.

The house was perfect for having many family and friends over, and overall an A+ choice. We are incredibly grateful to have stayed there and look forward to going back to the island!

Very lovely home, spacious, clean, big dining table, the little grocery store Vons was perfect very friendly and not to far from this home, we were very pleased we will definitely want to stay in this home again hopefully in the near future.
