This property was better than I hoped for! I've stayed in Hamilton Cove in the past, and this time did not disappoint me. Great golf cart, amazing location! My only complaint is the communication with the property manager. NONE of my messages sent thru VRBO were ever responded to. They are good on the phone (limited hours) and eventually, when they provided a text number, they did answer a few of my texts-- although some of them never got a response. So, go and enjoy! And if you need assistance, call during working hours. :)

Stayed at 8-81 and loved every bit of it! The golf cart came with the rental and it was a must-have on the island. Hamilton Cove was absolutely beautiful and the island had so many things to do, although doing nothing was the relaxing choice we made. The unit has plenty of space, the constant sound of waves crashing at night were a wonderful way to fall asleep each night. The cove is about a mile from Avalon and just a few blocks from Descanso Beach Club. The island is easy to navigate, the food was outstanding and having a Von's grocery store nearby was a savior for anything you would want or need. We look forward to returning for sure. This unit is near the bottom of the hill just as the pictures show so just a few steps to your unit as opposed to some of the others that looked to be quite a climb. The only thing this unit needs is an updated stove/oven, it needs some help or needs to be replaced. Other than that, the unit has a great private balcony on the living room/kitchen level and a nice balcony down stairs where the bedroom is located. Both bathrooms were nice with the one at the living room level being very roomy. For us it was an easy flight from IAH to LAX, taxi to long beach and ferry to the island. From there, you can either walk to the CIVR office or take a quick cab ride (2 min). It was very easy and the CIVR folks were very friendly and easy to do business with.

This was a great choice for our family. Nice location next to the beach and sand volleyball courts. Very clean. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed eating out on the private balcony and looking at the view. We would stay here again.

Place had amazing views, decorated very nicely, plenty of clean towels in bathrooms,kichen had enough dishes, pans, and appliances. Overall we had a great weekend and enjoy our first trip to Catalina.

This condo has two private balconies with beautiful ocean views, a propane grill for those who enjoy a good barbecue, multiple televisions, and WiFi. Also included is a complimentary 6 passenger golf cart that you can drive to town for an Avalon adventure. Only 18 steps to the 1st level of the villa!

Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes complimentary use of the community’s amenities (heated pool, spa, fitness center, 18 hole golf putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area with built in barbecues and picnic tables). The amenities are maintained by the Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association and are not guaranteed. Some restrictions may apply.
