We enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean upon arrival. We had a small hiccup with the Murphy bed (we didn’t know how to lower it). Someone came to show us how it worked. We did ask for extra pillows, but they weren’t able to get those to us. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed being able to see the ocean from the living room. It is a very steep walk uphill and not easy to get to Von’s. But if you’re ok with walking and carrying your groceries-you got this! Close to everything!

The views make the hike worth it! The hill and stairs to the property made for good exercise, but might be challenging for families with small children and lots of gear. The rooftop deck is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee! Though the home is dated, it was very clean and well stocked. There were plenty of towels, dishes, etc. All appliances worked well. We enjoyed the puzzles and games that were in the home.

The rooftop deck is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee! Though the home is dated, it was very clean and well-stocked. There were plenty of towels, dishes, etc. All appliances worked well. Our family enjoyed the games and puzzles that were in the home.

Amazing view! The property is dated, furniture is old and a hodge podge of random things. There are newer appliances in the kitchen. The location is good but there is a hill to walk up and stairs to access the property. It was fine for our family, but if you are pushing a stroller or have any kind of physical limits/struggles it might be difficult. The 180 degree views are what made this property enjoyable. Our favorite times spent onsite were on the rooftop enjoying the view.

Renting this property through Vrbo was so easy. Communication with the rental team was great. No problems with a quick response always.

The cottage was just as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Great location with a bit of an uphill walk but that was ok because of the view from the cottage and top patio. Excellent time!!

Great set up, outdoor patio was incredible and by far the best feature. Only downside was the hill to get up to the property from the main part of town. And apparently there is an easy Whitley as well as a west Whitley so don’t trust google on directions

We absolutely loved the location of this place, neighbors were awesome, upstairs outdoor patio was perfect with a gorgeous view. Comfortable beds, even the Murphy bed. All in all it was great!

Gorgeous view and well supplied kitchen. Loved the homey feel and space to enjoy family members. Much important bonding took place. Would definitely return again.

The house is clean, eclectic and exactly as represented. The area is a great location and you can walk everywhere up and down the hills. The breezes and views are delightful. Sunrise from the kitchen window, high above the bay, was awesome.

There were five of us comfortably staying here during Christmas. Lots of furniture for sitting. The location is convenient, and easily walkable from the port. If you want to cook during your time there, the fridge is big and the stove is very nice. There are plenty of towels and bathroom amenities and a nice heater in the bathroom to keep you warm after your shower. There are two bedrooms and a Murphy bed in the living room. If you’re in the living room and it’s a windy night hear a lot of noise. Overall a decent place, and I’d recommend staying here.

This is the upper and largest unit of this Victorian triplex. Only a couple of blocks up the hill and 26 steps to get to the top, but well worth the climb. Both bedrooms have a queen bed, and there is a double Murphy bed in the living room. This unit boasts lots of sunshine and ocean views from the living area and the large rooftop deck. It offers an open floor plan, fully equipped kitchen, 43-inch flat panel TV with satellite, VCR and DVD players, stereo, BBQ, and a small library of books, games and extras are there for your enjoyment. No smoking, please. 216WC

Note: Spiral staircase in living room is closed up, to access rooftop deck you must use the stairs outside behind kitchen.

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day).
