We have stayed at Hamilton Cove 12+ times and this condo was by far the best. No steps, great view and private balcony. Well maintained and updated furnishings. Like staying at a friend's home. We will definitely be back. And the office staff is great to deal with.

Location is perfect! No steps to your condo.. the view is incredible. It was extremely quiet. I would definitely stay again.

The golf cart is a nice touch to a great property. Wonderful views from the terrace and the master bedroom, clean and up to date with good WiFi.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The views were fantastic! The condo was very comfortable. It was nicely decorated and furnished (not plain like many vacation rentals). It felt like we were staying in our own home. It was really nice that this condo did not have any stairs to climb. It made it very easy to carry our luggage into the unit.

The use of the golf cart was a nice benefit, as we used it for several of our trips to downtown and sites around Avalon. The location of the condo is really too far to walk, especially with luggage. A note in the listing stating that you'll need to get a taxi when you arrive and leave, would be helpful.

Since our stay was in the fall, we had hoped to use the fireplace. It was listed as an amenity. But, unfortunately, when we arrived, we saw a note on the fireplace requesting it not be used. It should be removed as an amenity, if renters are not allowed to use it.

We loved our stay in this unit. We would definitely stay here again.

This condo was great for our weekend getaway. It was clean, had all the amenities we needed, and the golf cart worked great for the short drive to town. Will stay here again!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Villa 2-49. The condo is nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. There were a few items that we could have used in the kitchen that weren't available but overall we made it work, but because of these basics I've knocked off 1 star as I do feel these should be basics for what we paid. (ie.cookie sheet, foil, hand soap, a new clean sponge, the bbq did not work & may have already been out of propane & a few other items I know longer remember), and also the fact that the master bedroom had not been finished by the cleaning crew. The bed was not made nor were the towels ready in the bathroom. After several calls to the different numbers we were able to reach someone who sent the cleaning crew back out to make the bed & provide the towels. The view is wonderful and the fact that you don't have any steps to speak of made it nice for my knees. Because this unit is right on the first street as you come in, there will be golf cart noise (my earplugs helped a bit with that). There is a step down into the living room which makes it not completely handicapped accessible. Overall I would recommend this unit and I would stay here again. I would also like to thank the owner of this unit for his service to our country. We are grateful.

We enjoyed the facilities and had a great time, Amazing views from the balcony. Used the barbeque for dinner preparation. Everybody had a great time. The children (high school students) were impressed by the security and the guard at the gate to let us in.       

A perfect unit with a terific location. The no steps access will have us returning again and again! A beautiful unit.

We have stayed at Hamilton Cove many times. This unit is very nice. Private balcony was unexpected and very nice. The location and ease of getting in & out of the unit was exceptional as there were no stairs to deal with. This unit only has one flaw...the golf cart was a bomb! It was the worst golf cart we have ever had to endure! My 19 year old son could run up the hill faster than the cart! Although it was funny to watch...it was a real drag when it was night and cold!

After looking at the other rentals, this unit met all of our needs. We are a family of 4, which included 2 children. The unit had everything we needed. The barbecue grill was perfect for our evening dinner. The golf cart with the coverings was exactly what we needed because it happened to rain during our stay. We did have a problem with a kitchen sink. It had a leak but was quickly resolved by Mr. Hernandez. The Catalina Island Rentals MGR was very acommodating. We loved this unit. It had an amazing view. We love to cook and I was surprise to find all the cooking equipment I needed. We had a great time.

The Condo was great - especially for 3 people.

This was a beautiful unit with a great view and no steps!! I would have rated this a 5-star experience except for 2 things. One was that the washer/dryer was shared with other rentals, as well as used by the cleaning staff. That made it kind of hard to sneak in a load -- and sometimes the cleaning staff left their stuff in the dryer for long periods of time. Only other negative was that one night the fire alarm went off around 10:30 pm -- very loud inside the unit!! And it took a while for security to shut it off. Inspite of those 2 things, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this as a vacation option. Looking forward to returning next year.
