Last year’s Catalina Summer Concert Series featured a number of crowd pleasing concerts..
For the last several years, Avalon Harbor has echoed with the sounds of great music emanating from Wrigley Stage along with the delighted sounds of families having fun together. Thanks to the Xceptional Music Company, the Catalina Island Chamber of Commerce and several generous sponsors, including Catalina Island Vacation Rentals and Catalina Island Real Estate, this year will be no exception.
With concerts happening on eight weekends scattered through the summer, the Xceptional Summer Concert Series brings world-class musicians to Avalon’s picturesque waterfront. The family-friendly performances include cover bands, tribute acts and original artists. Concerts typically feature classic rock, pop or country songs that inspire everyone to get up and get dancing. Each of the concerts is free and a beer and wine garden will be set up near the stage for those who would like to purchase adult beverages.
While the full concert line-up will be released later this summer, the concerts dates have been selected. The concert series will kick off on May 24, with subsequent Catalina Island music concerts scheduled for June 13 and 27, July 9 and 25, and August 8 and 22. The final concert of the season will happen Sept. 6.
