Island decor and a wonderful ocean view come with this spacious villa that is available for caring guests. It offers tile floors throughout, and there are retractable doors to make a private room with the queen sofa bed. Open the French doors onto the common balcony from the master suite and the great room and enjoy the sunny views of Hamilton Cove and the ocean. This villa also offers high speed internet access! Only 9 steps to the road, where you will find the golf cart parked in space 84, and a total of 1840 SF. H1784

HAMILTON COVE COMMUNITY

Hamilton Cove is a gated community, with its own security staff with at least one guard on duty at all times. Transportation within Hamilton Cove and from Hamilton Cove to Avalon is accomplished by golf cart.

Hamilton Cove community amenities, include swimming pool, spa and a gym with separate men and women locker rooms, each with its own sauna, For additional entertainment and exercise there is a croquet course, an eighteen hole putting course and two lighted tennis courts.

Hamilton Cove has three distinct beach areas stretching approximately 1500 feet. The beach areas are set up for BBQ, volleyball and other appropriate beach activities. In addition, the area immediately offshore is a kelp garden teeming with fish. This area can be enjoyed either by snorkeling or scuba diving. Many a lobster is caught just off shore during lobster season.

In addition to Hamilton Cove amenities, you will be delighted with the property’s close proximity to Descanso Beach Club, and Avalon’s finest shops, dining and nightlife, and not to mention numerous attractions the island has to offer.

The home is beautiful. It was easy to check in. The 6 person golf cart was nice. We spent a lot of time at the pool. The deck was perfect for dinner each night. The kitchen was well-stocked for dishes, silverware and cooking utensils.

I come to Catalina several times a year and have stayed at various Hamilton Cove condos based on my needs each time. I have a select couple favorites and this will now be added to that short list! This trip was for some well-needed relaxation and girl time for myself, my teenage daughter and my friend. The property checked all of our boxes! It was simply decorated (in a good way) with very comfortable furniture and great use of space. The layout was open and airy, it was quite clean, and it seemed recently renovated with modern bathroom fixtures and kitchen appliances. The balcony had ample seating options--all of which were comfortable--and the views from the unit were breathtaking (despite our unfortunate luck with cloudy weather). Though not mentioned on the property description, the unit has two large and perfectly placed SmartTVs (living area and master bedroom) with plenty of streaming options. The kitchen was also very well equipped with good quality cooking and baking utensils, and plenty of essential and non-essential kitchen-ware (even a well-stocked spice rack!). Though the golf cart seemed to be older and really having to work to get up hills especially, it got us to and from town as we needed. The only couple downsides of note for me was there was no trashcan in the master bedroom/bathroom area (only in the second bathroom and kitchen) and the mattresses were a bit too firm fro our liking (and I like my mattress firm!), but I feel like that is splitting hairs at this point. We look forward to being able to experience this condo again in the future!

Our family of five adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hamilton Cove Unit #17-84. This is a huge unit with plenty of space, fully equipped, with a wide veranda with wonderful views of the ocean and forested hillsides. It is easy to get back and forth to town in the 6 passenger golf cart, but it is also very pleasant to walk the 1.7 miles to town. The staff at CIVR is always helpful and responsive. We highly recommend Hamilton Cove.

First of all our overall experience with Catalina Island Vacation Rentals was awesome. The people at the office were very accomadating and got us in our condo early. They called us a cab and were very cheery and set our weekend on a great note. We have had the opposite experience with other property companies on the island and were grateful for this experience. The property was large and more than sufficient for us and the other couple that was staying with us. The bed in master bedroom was super comfortable and the bathroom was huge and luxurious. The view was amazing. The reason That I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because I was not a huge fan of the decor in this particular condo and because of the total lack of carpets on the floor that took away from the potential warmth of the place.
