Each year, about one million people visit Catalina Island – and nearly all of them spend some time gazing at the homes on the island and envisioning what it would be like to live on Catalina. Escaping the madness of the mainland and relaxing with a quieter pace, surrounded by the island’s spectacular natural beauty is a natural daydream, and one shared by millions of visitors.

Getting an inside look at some of those Catalina Island homes is something that visitors and residents alike will be able to do on Saturday, Dec. 10, during the Avalon Home Tour. Five Avalon homes, along with the historic Catalina Island Yacht Club, will be available for touring – and daydreaming – during the tour. Two of the homes are located in the exclusive Hamilton Cove villas, two others are perched on the hillside overlooking Avalon Harbor and one is a historic Craftsman beauty in the center of town. Tickets for the Avalon Home Tour are $60 and are available at the event website. The tour is a fundraiser for the Catalina Island Medical Center Foundation, which supports the only hospital on Catalina Island.

If the home tour and your island day-dreaming inspire you to make your dreams a reality, visit Catalina Island Real Estate to explore real estate in Avalon.
